Privacy Policy
Last Updated June 20, 2026
This policy explains what Zonar collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We keep it plain and honest.
The Short Version
Zonar exists to send you one alert when a new AI model ships. To do that we need a way to identify your account, send you a push, and bill your subscription. We only collect what those jobs require, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect a small amount of information, grouped by what it is for.
- Account details. When you sign up, our authentication provider stores your email address and basic sign in information so you can log in and we can recognize your account.
- Notification data. To deliver alerts we store a device push token and your notification preferences. This token lets us send a push to your device, and it does not identify you to outside parties on its own.
- Subscription and payment data. When you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card details and we receive limited billing information, such as your subscription status and a customer reference. We never see or store your full card number.
- App data. Our backend stores the records that make the app work, such as your account record, subscription state, and which alerts have been sent to you.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may process standard technical information, like IP address and request logs, as a normal part of serving the website and keeping it secure.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Send you the model alerts you signed up for.
- Process and manage your subscription.
- Provide support when you contact us.
- Keep the service running, reliable, and safe from abuse.
Third Party Services We Rely On
We use trusted providers to run Zonar. Each one only receives the data it needs for its job, and each has its own privacy policy.
- Clerk handles account sign up, sign in, and email based authentication.
- OneSignal delivers push notifications and manages your device push token.
- Stripe processes subscription payments and stores your payment details securely.
- Convex is our backend database where your account and app data live.
- Vercel hosts the website and processes standard technical and request data.
Data Retention And Deletion
We keep your information for as long as you have an account, so the service can work as expected. If you want your account and associated data deleted, email us and we will take care of it. Some records may be retained where we are required to keep them, for example billing records held by our payment processor.
Your Choices
You can turn notifications off at any time from your device settings, and you can manage or cancel your subscription on the web at zonar.sh. You can also reach out to us to access or delete your account data.
Children
Zonar is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by the laws of their country. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Zonar after an update means you accept the revised policy.
