Privacy Policy

Zonar exists to send you one alert when a new AI model ships. To do that we need a way to send a push to your device. You can also create an optional account. We only collect what those jobs require, and we do not sell your personal information.

We collect a small amount of information, grouped by what it is for.

• Account details. When you sign up, our authentication provider stores your email address and basic sign in information so you can log in and we can recognize your account.
• Notification data. OneSignal manages a device push token, subscription identifier, and your notification preferences so alerts can reach your device.
• App data. Our backend stores the records that make the app work, such as your optional account record, the model catalog, and which model alerts Zonar has sent.
• Alert diagnostics. When you test alert setup, we temporarily record the app, SDK, iOS and device versions, subscription status, result, and a diagnostic reference. We store a one-way hash instead of the raw subscription identifier, and we do not store the push token in this diagnostic record.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider may process standard technical information, like IP address and request logs, as a normal part of serving the website and keeping it secure.

We use the information above to:

• Create and secure your account.
• Send you the model alerts you signed up for.
• Provide support when you contact us.
• Keep the service running, reliable, and safe from abuse.

We use trusted providers to run Zonar. Each one only receives the data it needs for its job, and each has its own privacy policy.

• Clerk handles account sign up, sign in, and email based authentication.
• OneSignal delivers push notifications and manages your device push token.
• Convex is our backend database where your account and app data live.
• Sentry receives crash and error diagnostics so we can find and fix reliability problems.
• Vercel hosts the website and processes standard technical and request data.

Optional account data is kept while you have an account. Alert test diagnostics are automatically deleted after seven days. Push subscription data is managed by OneSignal while notifications are enabled. If you want your account and associated data deleted, use Delete Account in the app or email us.

You can turn notifications off at any time from your device settings. You can also reach out to us to access or delete your account data.

Zonar is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by the laws of their country. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Zonar after an update means you accept the revised policy.
